Installation: Update Contao 3.5.x mit Tao nach Contao 4.9.x

Hallo zusammen und ein frohes neues Jahr!
Meine bestehende Contao Installation mit dem Theme Tao möchte ich von 3.5.36 auf Contao 4.9.x updaten. Habt Ihr dazu eine Anleitung? In welcher Reihenfolge müssen CMS, Themedateien, etc. aktualisiert werden? Oder sollte besser eine frische Contao-Version mit der aktuellen Theme-Version installiert werden und anschließend die "alte" Datenbank importiert werden?

Bitte beachten Sie jedoch, dass Contao 4.9 nur noch bis Mitte Februar unterstützt wird. Wir empfehlen daher ein Update auf Version 4.13 (die aktuelle LTS-Version).
