Product: Open Sauce Contao
Contao Version: 4.4
Browser and version: Firefox 72.0.2 (64-bit)

Since I have upgraded from Contao 3.5.40 to 4.4 the format of certain features (Navigations-Suche and Sidebar Subscribe) have changed. The original format can be seen at and the upgrade can be seen at

Navigations-Suche now displays at the far right what page you are currently viewing which was not the case before.

Sidebar Subscribe now displays a small envelope in the place of the "Register" button.

These are the only differences I have identified so far.

    Thank you for submitting your question!

    The styling errors indicate that the CSS files of the Theme didn’t get updated to the newest version.

    If you cannot update the CSS files because of modifications that would get lost you can alternatively add the following CSS code to the file files/opensauce/css/custom.css:

    .main-navigation a,
    .main-navigation li > span,
    .main-navigation li > strong {
        float: left;
        padding: 0.75em 1.375em;
        border-left: 1px solid #dedede;
        color: inherit;
        text-decoration: none;
        -webkit-box-shadow: inset 1px 0 rgba(255, 255, 255, 0.5);
        -moz-box-shadow: inset 1px 0 rgba(255, 255, 255, 0.5);
        box-shadow: inset 1px 0 rgba(255, 255, 255, 0.5);
    .newsletter-box .formbody button {
        position: static;
        width: 100%;
        margin-top: 1em;
        padding: 0.5em;
        line-height: inherit;
        text-align: center;
        text-indent: 0;
    .newsletter-box .formbody button:after {
        content: none;
